Obituary of Betsy Jane Tamagni

Betsy J. (Montgomery) Tamagni was born in Hammonton, NJ, September 10, 1935. She is the daughter of the late Leslie W. Montgomery, and Jane Thomas Montgomery. Her father was a professional baseball player for the Syracuse Stars in the early 1920's. Betsy was a lifelong Phillies fan and an avid follower of sports.She was employed at Prudential Insurance Company in Millville, retiring after 20 years. . She was a lover of the written word and an insatiable reader who also enjoyed working crossword puzzles. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Debra Tamagni, daughter and husband,Donna and Paul Baruffi, brother in law and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Tamagni, brother in law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Betty Tamagni, sister-in-law, Bernadette Cervini, grandson, David Schwartz; grandson, Robert Schwartz; granddaughter, Rebecca Schwartz; grandson, Christopher Baruffi; granddaughter, Danielle Baruffi She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Tamagni in 1994 and her parents, Leslie and Jane Montgomery. Funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by the funeral service at 12:00pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
