Obituary of Helen E. Wolf

Helen (Eichberg) Wolf, 92 of Atlantic City, and formerly of Vineland, passed away at home on Saturday, January 3, 2015, after an extended illness. She was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1938 with her parents and sister. Helen was a resident of Atlantic City since 2006 after living in Vineland for 50 years. She retired after more than 60 years in retail sales. After retirement she became a librarian at Beth Israel Library. These jobs were perfect for her as she loved helping other people. During her lifetime she enjoyed needlework, knitting, and her volunteer work; but her priority was always spending time with her family and friends. She was never too busy for others. Helen was a longtime member of Beth Israel Congregation, Bat Ami Chapter of Hadassah, and the Hebrew Women's Benevolent Society. She was also a volunteer at Bishop McCarthy Residence, after her husband and mother were residents there. helen will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Linda Nunziato (Frank) of Vineland and Karen Dunkelman (Jack) of Atlantic City, four grandchildren: Lisa DeMatte (Jeff), Marla King, David Dunkelman (Dana) and Jodi Dunkelman, six great-grandchildren and her caregiver, Juliette Bennett. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Kurt Wolf, parents Else and Carl Eichberg and her sister Inge Pagelson.
