Obituary of Irene Frangakis

Irene N. Frangakis, 58, of Vineland, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2014. Irene was born on November 9th, 1956 in the town of Melanios on the island of Chios, Greece. She came to America in 1966 with her family. She was a loving sister who always managed to produce a smile despite having been dealt the toughest of circumstances - in so doing she brought joy to us all. Irene was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Despina Frangakis. She is survived by her brothers & sisters and their spouses; John (Christine), Maria (Andy), Marina (Panagiotis), Peter (Antoinette) and Kyriakos (Nancy), as well as a great many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Church Visitation will be on Friday, January 2 from 9am to 10am followed by a Church Service at St Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Road, Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow after funeral service at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Donations in memory of Irene may be made to: St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Road, Vineland, NJ 08360.
