Obituary of Jeanne M. Nightlinger

Jeanne M. Nightlinger, 88, of Newfield Passed Away on Friday July 4, 2014. Born in Ashland, PA to the late Lawrence and Catherine (Schilling) Meehan, she moved to Newfield, NJ in1939. Jeanne was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish- Church of St. Rose of Lima in Newfield. A member of the Altar Rosary Society, where she helped raise funds for the catholic shcool. She was an active member of the Democratic Club in Newfield, and served on the election board for 35 years. Jeanne enjoyed crocheting and needlework, however she was well known as an excellent seamstress, making wedding dresses and communion outfits. Most of all Jeanne's greatest love was caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
