Obituary of Josephine Paladino

Josephine (Buono) Paladino, 90, of Rosenhayn, passed away on January 2, 2014 surrounded by her family at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. She was one of 12 children born in Rosenhayn to the late Salvatore & Mary (Pepitone) Buono, where she remained a life long resident. Along with her husband Frank, she owned and operated The Paladino Farms in Rosenhayn until their retirement. Josephine enjoyed cooking and baking and was well known for her birthday cakes. She loved trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family for Sunday dinners. She is survived by her husband of 70 years; Frank Paladino, daughter; Anna Mattson Paladino, daughter; Mary Visconti, son & daughter-in-law; Vincent & Emily Paladino, daughter & son-in-law; Jeanie & Gene Annacone, son; Frank Paladino, grandchildren; Robert, Deborah, Carol, John, Michelle, Dana, Lauren, Jason & Justin, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brother & sister-in-law; Frank & Dolly Paladino, brother & sister-in-law; Dominic & Phyllis Paladino, sister; Rita Dannenhoffer, sisters & brothers-in-law; Jenny & Patrick Newton and Annie & Joseph Leonardo, many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law; Robert Mattson & John Visconti, brothers; Augustine, Natale, Anthony & Samuel Paladino, and her sister; Ginger D'Ippolito. A Church Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 12pm at St. Mary's Church, Morton Ave in Rosenhayn.
