Obituary of Anthony "Frank" P. Crudo

Anthony P. "Frank" Crudo, 100, of Vineland passed away peacefully at Inspira Hospice in Bridgeton on Friday evening, December 20, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Catherine (Rotundo) Crudo. He has lived in Vineland since the age of 13. Frank was employed by Kimble Glass Co. for over 50 years as a scientific glass manufacturer, but he originally began his career as a glass blower and frequently made artistic hand blown glass gifts for his family and friends over the years. He enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling throughout the world. His greatest joy was his family and friends who he delighted with his personal stories and experiences of the last 100 years. For his age, he was known as an enlightened and progressive thinker. He is survived by his son; Robert Crudo, daughter; Carol Scibilia, daughter; Patricia Crudo, grandson; Richard Cafarelli (Martha), granddaughter; Dina Dietz, great-grandchildren; Sarah Dietz & Dana Cafarelli. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Janetta) Crudo in 1980. A Funeral Home Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 24 from 9am to 10am at Rone Funeral Service. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
