To the family and friends: I am truly sorry for your loss. 1 Corinthians 15:26 calls death an enemy and it truly is. But that same verse goes on to explain that that "enemy" is going to be brought to nothing. Revelation 21:4 says, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God is the only one with the power to do away with death, and he is going to do that very soon. In addition, we can also look forward to seeing our loved ones again. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
