Obituary of Lucy Rose Mingori

Known as "The Cookie Lady". Lucy worked in sales for most of her life, she co-owned and operated the Linda-Mar Shop for 5 years. She also worked in the Lucianne Bridal Salon. In her earlier years she worked in the clothing factory as a demonstrater for Best Market. Lucy was the matriarch of a large extended family. She was adored and respected by her children, grandchildren, nieces ,nephews and cousins. She volunteered at the senior citizen monthly luncheons at St. Isidore's since their inception. She also volunteered at the local soup kitchen and the Bishop McCarthy Nursing Home. Lucy served as a eucharistic minister for many years. She was amost faithful servant to her Lord. When asked , "What is the secret to her long life?" she repied, " prayer and olive oil".
