Obituary of Angelo Lepore

Angelo N. Lepore, 90, passed away on November 3, 2013 at Kennedy Health System in Washington Twp. Born to the late Samuel and Rose (Covello) Lepore in 1923. Angelo worked for Universal Rundle in Camden, his hometown. Plumbing and electrical work came naturally to him. He was well known around the neighborhood for his "White Cotton" Christmas tree and elaborate train set display that was open for all to come into the house to see. He moved his family to Landisville in the early 60's where he started a home heating business with his brother-in-laws, Pete Dandrea and Thomas DeRossi. He later worked for Blue Coach Foods and Four Star Products. His most enjoyable days were spent at home on his backyard deck surrounded by his family. He was a member of the Landisville Social Club, Knights of Columbus and a proud veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his sons & daughters -in-law, Robert & Lynne Lepore; Michael & Steffany Lepore; Bruce & Barbara Lepore; Brian & Cathy Lepore; daughter, Mary Rose Lepore; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, Jared, Jason,; Emily, Nathan & Nichole; great-grandchildren, Melanie & Lucas; sister, Marie Dandrea; brother-in-law, Theodore Filippone; sisters-in-law, Dolores Felix & Dorothy DeRossi; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Angelo was predeceased by his wife Emily on October 10, 2013; his parents, Samuel & Rose Lepore and his sister Anne Filippone. A Church Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 9:45am to 11:45am followed by A Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville, NJ.
