Obituary of Ronald Paul Viola

Ronald Paul Viola, 67, born July 26, 1946 of Mays Landing passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was a sergeant with the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1972. He retired from the Operating Engineers Union Local 825 in 2008 and Sexton's Equipment Company of Vineland in 2012. He was an avid outdoorsman and family man. If not out hunting or fishing, he was cooking up delights for his family. Ron was a Scout Master for Boy Scouts Troop 10. Additionally he was a vital part of the Camping Club at Vineland High where he shared his love of the outdoors and camping with a multitude of high schoolers. He could always be found in the cook tent preparing meals. Ron was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Viola (Burgess) and father Primo of Massachusetts. Ron is survived by his wife of 35 years Mary Beth (née Baniky). He had two children Ronald P. (wife Bailey) and Kaitlyn Totora (husband Matt) as well as two grandchildren Mykaela and Cole. He also is survived by two sisters Taffy Manchester and Karen Snell (husband Dana) of Gardiner Maine and one brother David of Carver Massachusetts. He will be sadly missed by his beloved pets: Fannie, Pasquale, and Tilly.
