Obituary of Anthony William Dauito

Anthony William Dauito Sr. (Bud) 81, a lifelong resident of Vineland, NJ passed away on Thursday July 4th at his home surrounded by his family from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Vineland on April 30th, 1932 to William and Rachel (Scarpa). Bud attended Vineland High School where he met his spouse, Phyllis Tarpelli. Bud married Phyllis on February 3rd, 1952. Bud founded Dauito's Express in the early 1960's and continued his career both driving and working on tractor trailers. In 1988, he founded Budget Truck Repair where he worked alongside his children until his retirement. Bud was a member of the North Vineland Fire Department, a lifetime member of Quinton Sportsman's Association where he enjoyed skeet shooting and was an avid hunter. Bud enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bud also was a lifelong member of Saint Rose of Lima Church (Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament) Newfield, NJ. Bud was survived by his children, William and Gina (Rambone) Dauito of Newfield, Rochelle and Michael Carlino of Vineland, Anthony Jr. and Susan (Carleson) Dauito of Vineland, and Denise and Chuck Bramble of Vineland. He is survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bud is also survived by his sister and brother in law Sarah and Jules Armellini of Palm City, FL and a brother and sister in law and Alfie "Wayne" and Lynn Tarpelli of Norma, NJ. and many nieces, nephews and other close relatives. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis (Tarpelli) Dauito; his parents, William and Rachel Dauito; his sisters and brothers in law Marie and James Marcacci and Evangeline and Romeo Gelsi.
