Obituary of John Salvatore Sammartino

John Sammartino, 89, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 after a brief illness. Born in Vineland in 1923, he was the 5th of 7 children. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1941 and joined the US Army. John was a veteran of World War II and a member of Franklin D. Roosevelts Honor Guard. he worked for the US postal service for over 30 years before retiring in 1978. John was also a long time lecture at Saint Isidore's Church.
