Obituary of George P Goffredi

George Goffredi, 95, of Minotola passed away peacefully on march 22, 2013 surrounded by his family at Bishop McCarthy Residence. He was a vegetable and peach grower for many years as well as a foreman for Ace Glass Factory for 34 years, before his retiremnet in 1980. George was also a welder at the new York Shipyard in Camden during the war. he was a member of Queen of Angels Parish- Church of St. Michaels. he was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, a former member and officer for the Minotola Resque Squad. he enjoyed casino trips, baseball cards parties, his family and friends. many happy times were spent withhhis friends at Louise E. Moore Senior Center (Haleyville), Buena Gardens and Bishop mcCarthy Residence. George was most appreciated of the kind aand caring attention he received at Bishop McCarthy.
