Obituary of Gladys Rose Letizia

Gladys Rose (Ferrari) Letizia, 72, of Vineland, peacefully passed through the gates of heaven on November 13th, 2006 at her home, where she had been under the loving care of her husband for an extended period of time. Gladys was born and raised in East Vineland, whee she remained a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Dionisio"Nig" and Alice (Gabordi) Ferrari. She is survived by a brother, Daniel T. Ferrari, of Vineland. Prior to her illness, Gladys enjoyed working together with her husband on the family farm, their rental properties, and numerous other home projects for their three children. She loved collecting antiques, cooking for her family, and taking daily trips to visit her grandchildren. By far, her greatest joy in life was her family. In addition, Gladys was one of the founding members of the St. Mary's Regional School Grandparent's Association. She volunteered at the school for many years during its formative days. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Padre Pio Parish and a member of several of their groups and associations during that time. She leaves behind her loving husband of 51 years, Paul J. Letizia, and her three children and their spouses, Cynthia M. Letizia-Flaim and Robert A. Flaim, Jr., Paul D. Letizia and MaryBeth (Walsh) Letizia, and Ronald J. Letizia and Karen ( Risimini ) Letizia, all of Vineland. Gladys also leaves her five most cherished grandchildren, Ryan Robert Flaim, Jessica Lynne Flaim, Paul William Letizia, Katelin Rose Letizia, and Amanda Mary Letizia .
