Obituary of Rose M. Tuso

Rose M. (Verdi) Tuso, 88, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008, at Baker House. SShe was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ralph and Conceta (Costa) Verdi, moving to Vineland where she was a long time resident. Rose previously was employed by Bell Telephone in Vineland before working for Tursini Clothing Compamy for many years. She also worked for the District Board Workers for Cumberland County Board of Elections where she was also an Executive Committee Woman. Rose was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and a member of the Ladies of St. Francis, and also belonged to the Amalgamated Workers Clothing Union. Rose was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to the casinos, crossword puzzles, but most of all she was an avid fan of Chase Utley and the Phillies.
