Obituary of Samuel Roth

RONE FUNERAL SERVICE Samuel Roth of Vineland passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010. A Holocaust survivor, chicken farmer, and prominent businessman, Sam was a driven person who showed appreciation for all he had in his long life. Sam always enjoyed being with his family. Beloved husband of 65 years of Elizabeth (nee Ehrlich), devoted father of Carl, Ed (Judy), Henry (Barbara). Loving grandfather of Lisa, Emily (Jordan) Fried, Dana, Jason, Adam, Melissa, Jonathan and Michael. Sam was an active member of Beth Israel Congregation where he attended morning services almost daily. The stories he shared with his family from the Holocaust were always fascinating, and they will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Beth Israel Congregation. Burial is in Alliance Cemtery, Norma, NJ. Shiva will be observed at 7 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday.
