Obituary of Irene Ragone

Irene (Testa) Ragone 90, of Vineland passed away Saturday December 26, 2009 in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Vineland to the late Guistino and Ciacinta Testa where she remained a life long resident. Irene attended the Vineland public schools and graduated from Vineland High School in 1937. A homemaker most of her married life, Irene along with he late husband Frank, assisted him as bookkepper, in operating their service station. She began her working career as secretary when her cousin Frank Testa served as Mayor for the city of Vineland. Irene went on to be employed as a bookkeper for the Vineland State School for more than twenty-five years. Irene was a long time member of St. Frances or Assisi Church. Irene was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and great aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed reading, and visiting family and friends. She cared very much about people and loved spending time with her family.
