Obituary of Angela Biaselli
Angelina (D'Amore) Biaselli passed away very peacefully with her famiy at her side at SJ Healthcare Regional Hospital on March 26, 2010 after an extended illness. She was the youngest of eight sisters and one brother and the only child born in America. She was born to the late Rosaria (Ciciarello) and Vincenzo D'Amore'. She resided in Philadelphia, PA with her family until 1953 and moved to the Vineland area when her husband Joseph was transferred by his employer to work at the Best Market at Delsea Drive and Landis Avenue. After being widowed in 1995, she worked in saled for Belltone Hearing Aides in Vineland for a short time. As a hearing impaired person, she understood well the people she sought to help with their disability. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed being a homemaker throughtout her married life and she cherished every moment she spent with her two grandsons, Joseph and David. "Angie" and her husband Joe were lovers of contemporary art and jazz music. She was an avid reader and an incredible cook. A day trip to the casinos brought her great pleasure. Quite the comedian at times and a great story teller, her sister Gloria always called Angie "Her Erma Bombeck." Always a presence in our daily lives, we though she would live forever. We will greatly miss her.
Donations may be made in Angelina's memory to the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund for pediatric cancer patients at P.O. Box 41, Avalon, NJ 08202
