Obituary of Marie E. Nicholson

Marie E. Nicholson, 86, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland. She was born in New York City to the late Emma (Nerone) and Ernest Liguori; and was a life long resident of this area. Marie was a seamstress and was employed with Darjo Manufacturing in Richland before her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Richland and St. Mary's Church in East Vineland for over 60 years; a member of the St. Rita's Society and a member of the Cranberry Run Association. Marie lived for her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and her husband Larry Durham of Rosenhayn; brother Jerry F. Liguori of Vineland, sister Inez D'Allura of Buena; grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Brian and Kelly Durham; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters and many nephews and nieces. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Robert Nicholson and sister-in-law Margaret Liguori. A church visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 9 to 11 am from St. Padre Pio Parish at St. Mary's Church, 736 Union Road, Vineland. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am.
