Dear Charlotte, it has taken me this long to give you your well deserved tribute. Smoothie came home to me In September 2009. I reached out to you so you would know he was home forever only to find out you were gone. You made such a huge impact on me and as a horse woman...well you were the best and I loved you for what you brought to me and my life. I hope you are resting easy and Mayne Smothie and Evie have found you.

Dear Richie, Patty and family, I was shocked to see that Charlotte passed away. I found out the day after the viewing or I would of stopped by. I miss the old days, I have a picture of Uncle charlie stuck in the mud at one of the horse shows. I love to go back through my pictures and relive those days. Charlotte and your family will always be a big part of those memories. Fondly, Barb

Charlotte was my Aunt and as far back as I can remember she never had a bad word for anyone, ever. One thing that stands out to me more then anything was from when I was young. Grandmom Lahn took me to see her and Uncle Rich and when we pulled in the driveway, I couldn't wait to get out of the car to stand by the fence with Mike and Brandon to watch Aunt Charlotte riding Kelly...her pride and joy. I know it was from her where I gained my love of horses, and respect for them as well. she was as beautiful a person inside as she was outside, but like the boys said nothing ever got past her. I will dearly miss her and am grateful she was MY aunt.

So sorry to read about the loss of your wife. You spoke of her lovingly while I was at your dog training classes. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. JoAnn and Lacey,a golden retriever that you literally had to drag across the floor to get her to walk with you!
