Obituary of Dale J Elbeuf

Dale J. Elbeuf, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday March 28, 2025. Dale was born on November 5, 1953, to the late Joseph P. and Ellen (Malatesta) Elbeuf. Dale was a lifelong resident of Vineland, NJ. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1972 as a three-sport letterman in Wrestling, Basketball and Baseball. After high school, Dale went on to the Rittner Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dale worked alongside his father at the family business, Elbeuf's Florist. From there, Dale entered the casino business working his way up to Credit Executive for The Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. After 17 years in the casino industry, Dale came home making a career working for the City of Vineland. He started off working for Public Works, eventually retiring in 2025 as the Recreation Superintendent for the City of Vineland. Dale was an avid outdoorsman enjoying his time spent hunting with his son on many trips across the country. He loved to vacation with his family, including special trips with his daughter to the state of Maine. Dale shared many stories and laughs with his family and many, many friends. Dale loved his sports, especially playing and coaching baseball. He was a diehard New York Yankees fan. Dale had many great experiences from the world of sports. Dale loved the City of Vineland and took great pride in where he was from. He was always so proud of the community that he represented. Dale is survived by his son Joseph (Amanda); daughter Lauren; ex wife Patricia Elbeuf (Clark); sisters Dawn Cerana (Randy) and Gwen Hagenbarth (Chet); granddaughter Hannah and many nieces and nephews. Dale is also survived by his loyal companion - his loving dog Bailey. Along with his parents Dale was predeceased by his sister Gale Elbeuf. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday evening April 4th from 4pm to 7pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ and at the church on Saturday morning from 9:15am to 10:15am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
