Obituary of Rose Yegla
Rose (Castello) Yegla, 90, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Born in Buena, New Jersey to the late Dominick and Maria Castello; Rose was the youngest of ten children. Rose graduated from Vineland High School and found her first job with South Jersey Clothing Company in Minotola, New Jersey. She spent her career working in various bookkeeping and payroll positions, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and dedication to her work.
While her children attended Our Lady of Victory school, Rose was very involved in the PTA. Later in life, Rose found great fulfillment in volunteering at the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
Rose had a passion for games, especially casino and card games, which brought her joy and camaraderie. She loved dining with friends, seeing shows and visiting with extended family. She loved cooking and spending time with family.
Rose was a devoted mother to Edward Yegla, Jr. (Colleen) and Tina Guetzlaff. She cherished her grandchildren, Nicole (Paul Kelly), Erich III, Lauren (Earl Ludwiczak), and Brittney. She treasured her time with her great-granddaughters, Beatrix and Maddox. Rose is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by all her siblings and their spouses; Louise Tripoli (Fred), James Castello (Jennie), Frank Castello (Mary), Salvatore Castello (Bette), Jerry Castello, Mary Capece (Frank), Dominic Castello, Jr. (Katherine), Angelo Castello, and Joseph Castello (Mary Joe)., she was also predeceased by her son-in-law Erich Guetzlaff, Jr.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 9:30am to 11:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will follow at 12pm from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of St. Mary's, 736 Union Road, Vineland.
