Obituary of Angela Conte

Angiola "Angela" Conte, 93, passed peacefully at home in Vineland with her loving family by her side. Angela was born and raised in San Valentino, a quiet town in Abruzzo, Italy. In 1970, she immigrated with her husband and 3 children to Watertown, MA before settling in Vineland, where she lived out her life. At a very early age, Angela spent hours in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother, learning the secrets of creating delicious homemade meals. The aroma of her homemade tomato sauce and fresh pasta filled the house for Sunday dinner with family. Her cooking was surpassed only by her baking, her cookies and pizzelle the favorites of the family. Angela was a dedicated and loving homemaker, wife, and mother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her three children, Claudio Conte (Maritza), Lucia Levin (Murray), and Mauro Conte (Maria); grandchildren Sam Levin (Robyn), Claudia Carozza (Franco); Gino Conte; Lisa Ciancaglini (Zac), Anna Ciancaglini (Matt), Gabriel Conte; and 5 great-grandchildren, Niko, Angelo, Giuliana, Evie, and Remy. She is also survived by her sister, Bambina. Angela is predeceased by her loving husband of seventy years, Mario Conte; parents, Tommaso and Carmela DeLuca; and her brothers, Gabriele and Valentino. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 10am to 12pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ followed by an entombment at 12:15 pm from Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Rd, Vineland.
