Obituary of Mary Vastano
Mary Vastano passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025, with her husband at her side. She was born in Pennsville, NJ. Mary was a graduate of Salem High School.
Mary's career began as a restaurant manager at the Millville Motor Inn, where she met Paul, the love of her life. She later transitioned into Risk Management, working for various companies over the years. Together with Paul, they co-owned Wild Wings. In her most recent years, Mary enjoyed her retirement as her husband's boss.
Mary was an enthusiastic Eagles fan, a passionate collector, and a lover of cats and cruises. An 18-year cancer survivor, she was an example of strength and resilience.
Mary cherished her family and the time she spent hosting special events for her niece, nephews and young cousins.
She is survived by her loving husband Paul; her sister Donna Carver; sister-in-law Gina Zerella (Henry); brothers-in-law George Vastano, David Vastano (Joy), and Stephen Vastano (Anna). She also leaves behind her nephews and niece Derek Bloemer, Benjamin Haynes, Matthew Zerella, Karin Zaba (Brendan), Pelle and Eric Vastano, as well as her great-nieces and nephews Hailiey, Ellie, Nicholas, Mia, and Nathan and great great niece Oaklyn. Additionally, she is survived by her "adopted" daughter and granddaughter, Tiffany Lynn and Laura Futrell.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
