Obituary of Jean Kane

Jean Clark Kane, 98, died peacefully in her sleep, at home on February 8, 2010. Jean was a proud graduatae of Columbia-Presbyterian School of Nursing and was employed as a visiting nurse. She retired as Dean of School Nursing for the Millville Board of Education. Jean married her high school sweetheart, Joseph Kane and they enjoyed a long marriage until his death in 1973. Jean was a strong and spirieted woman who loved to laugh. She was a voraciouse reader with a very good mind. Her parents brought the family to the U.S. from Arran,Scotland. Her Scottish sense of respondibility and resolve were apparent. She was fiercely proud of her children, her grandchildren and her great grandson. She is survivied by her daughters Lynn and Pamela, her grandchildren Shannon (Mathiew), Berek (Gillian) and Charles, as well as her great-grandson Max Alexander.
