Obituary of Ruth Gladys Hughes

Ruth Gladys Hughes, 80 of Vineland passed away Saturday August 14, 2010 in the South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Inpatient Center in Bridgeton. Ruth was born in Pottsville, Pa. to the late Hamilton and Martha Bair, before moving to Buena in 1955. She was employed for Wheaton Glass Industries for 22 years as Glass Packer before her retirement and a member of United Glass Blowers Union. Ruth enjoyed playing cards especially solitaire. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by daughter and her husband, JoAnn and George Boehm, of Vineland; son and his wife, Craig and Beatrice Hughes of Vineland; daughter and her husband, Bonnie And Clinton "Jacko" Jackson, of Rosenhayn; daughter, Diane Carter of Millville; daughter, Linda Angrisane of Bridgeton; son and his wife, James and Patricia Hughes of Rosenhayn; daughter, Susan Pierce of Vineland; sister, Esther McOwen of Montana; sister and her husband Lorraine and Bill Adams of PA; brother, Hamilton and Mary Bair of Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her son Thomas Gary Hughes in 2005 and husband, Robert Thomas Hughes in 2009; and was predeceased by a brother and sister. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Rone Funeral Service with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rosenhayn, NJ.
