Obituary of Dorothy Hontz

Dorothy Patricia Hontz, 91, passed away on December 2, 2010 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home. She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Sidney and Florence (Boland) Gray. Dorothy grew up in Wilkes-Barre, PA before moving to the South Jersey area in the early 1950's. She was a homemaker all her life and a member of the Eastern Star in Pennsgrove, and an avid reader. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter and husband Joan and James Grasso of Hammonton, son and companion Carl Hontz and Chris Miller of Yulee, Fl; daughter and her husband Margaret and James Morgan of Millville; son and wife William and Linda Hontz of Dahlonega, GA; son and wife John and Cindy Hontz of Haymarket, VA; 14 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great -grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Carl O. Hontz, and grandchildren Maxwell Preston Morello and Abigail Elizabeth Morello . A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 13,2010 at 10:00 am from St Isidore The Farmer Church 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Final disposition will be private.
