Obituary of Jason W. Ferrell
Jason Wesley Ferrell passed away on August 1, 2010, after a long illness. He was born on February 5, 1924 in Jacksonville, Florida. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. In 1946 he married Clara (Carpani) Ferrell and they resided in Vineland. Jason worked many years for the Cumberland County Road Department before his retirement. He enjoyed country music, traveling, camping, gardening, playing cards, collecting antique bottles and being with this family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara (Carpani) Ferrell of Vineland, NJ; granddaughter Dawn and her husband Marion Bernard of Landisville, NJ; granddaughter and her husband, Paula and Martin Casey of Northfield; great grandchildren, Grace, Matthew, and Christopher Bernard; great granddaughters, Patricia Casey and Madeline Lynsky.
Jason was predeceased by his daughter Patricia (Ferrell) Flukey in 2007.
A church visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed
by a funeral mass at 10:30 am to be held at St. Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland.
