Obituary of Agnes Luca

Agnes E. De Luca, 82 of Vineland passed away Tuesday February 24, 2009 in the Lincoln Specialty Care Center in Vineland after a lengthy illness. Agnes was born in Vineland to the late Thomas and Geneveve (Ottinger) Jost and remained a life long resident. She attended Sacred Heart Schools and was later employed for the Vineland Board of Education in the Johnstone School as a kitchen aid for several years. Agnes enjoyed gardening, and caring for her flowers. She enjoyed baby-sitting her grandchildren and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by husband of 54 years. Antonio "Tony" De Luca, Vineland, son and his wife, Anthony & Joyce De Luca, Vineland, daughter, Geralyn Piatt, Vineland, brother and his wife, John & Julie Jost, Vineland, brother and his wife, Walt and Audrey Jost, Newfield, sister and her husband, Mary & Don McFarland, Vineland, sister, Clara Severs, Vineland, grandchildren, Jeremy, Megan, Jared, Erin, Daniel; two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several siblings. A church visitation will be held on Friday from 9 to 10 am where a Funeral Liturgy will begin at 10:00 am from St. Isidore The Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
