Obituary of Rose M. Caterina

Rose M. Caterina, 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Inpatient Center. She was born in Glassboro to the late John and Lucy D'Onofrio. Rose enjoyed being a homemaker and babysitting with her grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, crabbing and traveling with her late husband Lloyd who predeceased her on November 1, 2005. She loved cooking and making homemade raviolis for her family. Rose was a member of St. Isidore The Farmer Church since 1962. She is survived by her daughter Gail and her husband Michael Marino of Vineland; sons James P. Caterina of Sea Isle City and Kenneth J. Caterina of Vineland; grandchildren Natalie and Nicholas Marino, Amy Barbera, Karen Morvay, Kenneth E. Caterina, Holly Cain and great-grandchildren Emma Rose Barbera, Sadie Grace Barbera; Mia Caterina Morvay, Chloe Michele Morvay; brother Earle D'Onofrio of Vineland and many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her sisters Edith Gius, Josephine Hammerstedt and Olga Diluzio. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Rone Funeral Service. A funeral mass will be held at St. Isidore The Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E. Walnut Road, Vineland.
