Obituary of Eugene Carter JR.

Eugene N. Carter, Jr., 60, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009. He was born in Vineland to the late Victoria Ann (Grando) and Eugene Carter where he remained a life long resident. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Ann Carter. Eugene graduated from Cumberland County College and was employed for the College as Assistant to the Supervisor of maintenance for 33 years before his retirement. He was the first athletic trainer of the Cumberland County College. Eugene was affiliated with the South Jersey Umpire Association for many years and umpired for various baseball teams. He is survived by his Aunt Rose Grando, and loving cousins, Louis Nunziato, Stacy B. Carter III, Victoria Coltri, Maria Medio, and Rose Marie Schroer, and several other cousins including the Ruggiero, Grando and Carideo families. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 am to 10:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
