Obituary of Shirley Anne Zipkin

Shirley A. Zipkin 87 of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. She was born to the late Isacc and Fannie (Schnitze) Zipkin in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Montclair, New Milford and Vineland and most recently Millville. Befoe moving back to New Jersey in 1997 she llived in Delray Beach , Florida for 17 years. Shirley graduated with a bachelors degree from New York University and was a physical education and health teacher for approximately 40 years in Bound Brook and Union, NJ. She was a life member of Hadassah and served as secretary in the Delray Beach chapter. Shirley loved to travel knit and read. Her brother J. George Zipkin predeceased her by ten days. She is survived by her sister-in-law Elaine (Schultz) Zipkin of New Milford; nephew Alan and Julie (Rebaschio) Zipkin, of Rockville Centre, New York; great nephew and niece Andrew and Lauren Zipkin; her beloved niece Merle (Zipkin) Silver and Dr. Seth Silver, of Millville. She most loved her great-nephews, Captain Joshua, Lt. Aaron, and Nathan Silver. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, August 28, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Mt.
