Obituary of Mary Young

Mary Young, 94, of Vineland, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Bishop McCarthy Residence. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Mary (Zaibil) and Joseph Krolikowski, moving to Piney Hollow as a young girl. She met and married her late husband William and moved to Newfield. Mary worked in the clothing industry for eleven years before moving to Vineland where she continued to work in the clothing industry. Along with her late husband they owned and operated Young's Sinclair Service where Mary ran the convenience store at West and Wheat Roads for over twenty years. Mary was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son and wife Robert and Ruth Young of Mays Landing; sister Helen Frame of Florida; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband William Young, Sr.; sisters Catherine Contino, Josephine Welsh and Dorothy Mastro; and brothers Frank and Joe Krolikowski. A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, from 1 to 2 pm followed by a funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm at Rone Funeral Service.
